The Baby Maker by Margaret Tanner - Get your #Romance today! #HEA #LoveStories

His name and his money are the only things war hero, Tye Jamieson, can offer Jenny McKenzie and their unborn child.
Tye is an expert at making babies, but not of the human variety. His babies are sophisticated fighter planes. Now that he has made a real baby, he is desperate to protect it if his secret mission into war-torn Iraq goes bad.
When tragedy strikes, will Jenny be able to forgive him for the way he has deceived her?

EXCERPT – PG 13

Jenny McKenzie stepped into the ward hiding her anxiety behind a forced smile.
“How are you feeling now?” She bent over to kiss her grandfather who was propped up against two pillows. Her forehead brushed against his snow-white hair.
“Not too bad. Don’t look at me like that, Jenny Wren.  There’s still a bit of life left in the old dog yet.” He chuckled. “It was just a heart flutter.  I told that young whippersnapper of a doctor I’d be all right at home.”
“I thought… Well, when I got the call at work…” She blinked back tears of relief.
“If the manager hadn’t got into a panic when I fell over at the shopping center and called an ambulance, I wouldn’t even be here. Now they want to do tests, and I’ll probably be stuck here for weeks,” he grumbled.  “You know what these medical people are like. Once they get you in their clutches they turn you into a guinea pig.”
Jenny sat on the bed and picked up one of his gnarled hands, cradling it between her own. Fingers, calloused and wrinkled with age, entwined with her white youthful ones.
“What do you think of my granddaughter, Tye? She’s quite a girl, eh?”  Smiling proudly, Angus McKenzie waved his hand toward the other occupant in the ward. “Fancy me sharing a room with a celebrity.”
Jenny turned her head and received the shock of her life.  Tyler Jamieson, famous American test pilot and Gulf war hero lounged on the other bed.
“H…Hello, Tye.”
“Hi, Jenny.” He flashed a devastating smile that caused her heart to flutter. His deep, well modulated voice held the slightest American accent.  His eyes, deep amethyst in color, flicked over her then returned to reading his book, as if he wasn’t impressed with what he saw. And why would he be? Compared to the international models and starlets he favored, Jenny McKenzie was a nonentity.
It had been headline news. A devastating accident that had fractured his leg and pelvis eighteen months ago, had put him in hospital for weeks. She had devoured every word of it.  Minutely studied his picture, fell in love with it, and him.  Instead of ejecting from his fighter jet when one of the engines caught fire, he flew it away from the populated areas, crash landing on a country road.  There was talk for a time that he might end up a paraplegic. Why was he back in hospital?
The well-shaped, sensuous lips suddenly drew into a thin harsh line, emphasizing the deep grooves running along either side of his mouth. He was angry and she didn’t know why.  Had he noticed the electrifying effect he had on her? Could he guess that he was the type of man she had been hoping to meet for most of her life?

Author Bio

Margaret Tanner is an award winning, multi-published Australian author, who writes Contemporary Romance, Historical Romance and Western Romance. She loves delving into the pages of history as she carries out research for her historical romance novels. No book is too old or tattered for her to trawl through, no museum too dusty. Many of her novels have been inspired by true events, with one being written around the hardships and triumphs of her pioneering ancestors in frontier Australia. She once spent a couple of hours in an old goal cell so she could feel the chilling cold and fear.
Her favorite historical period is the 1st World War, and she has visited the battlefields in France and Belgium, a truly poignant experience.
With the encouragement of friend and Western Romance author, Susan Horsnell, she has fallen in love with writing Western Historical Romance.  Frontier Australia and frontier America, have many similarities, isolated communities, a large single male population and a lack of eligible women.
Margaret has a short story published in the Western Romance Anthology, Rawhide ‘N Roses which was a 2015 Rone Finalist.
Margaret was also thrilled and excited to be invited to contribute a novella in the ground breaking series American Mail Order Brides. 50 brides from 50 different States in America, from 45 different authors. Her contribution is Edwina – Bride of Connecticut, Book No. 5 in the series.
Margaret is married and has three grown up sons, and a gorgeous little granddaughter.
Outside of her family and friends, writing is her passion.

On A Knife’s Edge by @AuthorLyndaB #Suspense #Action #Romance #BookTour #Amazon #Kindle

On a Knife's Edge
She was once his sweet salvation…
Lynch Callan has been a dead man walking most of his life—nothing out of the ordinary for a member of the 5th Street biker gang. There was a brief period, though, when she made him believe he could be more. That he could be worthy of her, and her love. To protect her, and keep their relationship from being discovered, he went to prison. Except now the Streeters are in danger. But in order to save his crew, he must first betray them. If caught, he’ll end up dead for sure. It’ll be the mother of all balancing acts—especially with her in the picture. But Lynch will do whatever is necessary to protect the people he loves.
He was once her deepest desire… Shasta Albright doesn’t break the rules. Not anymore. As an unruly teenager, she defied her family at every turn…even secretly befriending, then dating, then falling in love with a bad boy Streeter. Finally her recklessness caught up with her—with lasting and even dire consequences. Now she leads a pristine existence, always staying within the lines and keeping her secrets hidden. That is until he gets released from prison. Can Shasta hold her perfect world together, or will everything get hurled into chaos?
With young girls going missing, the sleepy town of Stardust, Nevada becomes an unlikely epicenter for an illicit slave trade—with Shasta and Lynch caught in the middle. Amidst the rising body count, they fight to keep their loved ones—and each other—safe. A single slipup could have deadly repercussions. It’s an untenable and treacherous position. Much like walking On a Knife’s Edge…

Excerpt #2 – adult only…
Lynch broke the kiss and grasped the pull tab of the sweatshirt zipper. With purposefully slowness, he lowered it. He bore his gaze into hers, giving Shasta the chance to stop him. She just stared at him with eyes so huge, so round, he thought he’d die within their brown depths.
Once the jacket hung open, he flicked it off her shoulders then skimmed the t-shirt up her torso. She lifted her arms and he pulled the shirt over her head.
He snagged her wrists. “Keep ‘em up, kay?”
Her delicate throat muscles labored as she nodded.
He ghosted his palms over her sports bra then wormed his fingers under the bottom. Still holding her gaze, he tugged it up. She licked her lips and her arms quivered slightly, but didn’t lower. Within seconds, her breasts were bared. He devoured them with his gaze.
They were flawless. The perfect size with two perfectly pearled nipples.
He outlined one areola with his finger. Her body trembled. He shifted her position so she laid prone on the seat, her feet near the handlebars and her head resting on the passenger cushion.
He kissed her again. His balls ached and his cock pounded at twice his heart rate. His hand molded around one breast. The satiny feel sent another shaft of hunger through his blood.
He kissed her eyes closed before nipping his way to her ticklish earlobe. Goose bumps erupted across her skin and her body arched toward him. His mouth journeyed down her delectable flesh to lick the velvet hollow of her neck, then down farther to a rigid nipple. Her body went completely still—almost like she’d stopped breathing—as his lips closed over the puckered crest.
Lynch stroked his tongue over the peak while his hand skimmed across her flat belly to the snug waistband of her jogging shorts.
Shasta braced her heels on the handlebars and elevated her hips. Lynch pulled while she wiggled. At last, he peeled the offending garment off one leg then the other, along with her running shoes. He replaced her socked feet to the outside edge of the handgrips.
Air back up in his chest as he feasted on her spread before him in all her naked glory. Her skin held a slight rosy hue and her earthy, sexy scent filled his senses. Her nest of pussy hair tightened the knot in his belly. He never dreamed he’d see her like this again.
He again gently gripped her wrists and placed her hands on the passenger seat. “You best hold on, Shaly,” he croaked.

About Lynda…

I have no doubt I was born a storyteller.

I remember telling my first “story” in kindergarten. I informed my teacher, Mrs. Downing, that my mom had just had a baby boy. She hadn’t, of course, and while I got thoroughly admonished for my “storytelling,” I wasn’t deterred from what would become a lifelong passion.

From making up tales as a kid which centered around my favorite TV shows to today, I love telling stories! Stories with handsome guys and spunky gals, that always…always end with a happily-ever-after.

My romances are full of passion, with heat levels that range from hot to sizzling! I've been a finalist in numerous writing contests, including RWA’s® prestigious Golden Heart® in 2010. Please join me for laughter, love and that all important HEA.

#HOT #NEWRELEASE: Tight Spiral by @Gill1Michael #Sports #Romance #Suspense #Superbowl #football

The minute she had sat down at the table that day in Wembley, he'd felt a connection that seemed to develop instantaneously between the two of them. He had wanted her ever since...

Inspired by Lee Childs and Nicolas Sparks, Tight Spiral is a fast-paced tale of romance and suspense. Written by former American Football Coach, Michael J Gill, this is the story of two people who fall in love despite the obstacles and wrongful assumptions in their path.

The novel follows Harry Smith, the first British quarterback in American college football who had everything going him: a star future, and a pretty Texan girl on his arm. But when "Prince Harry" collides with fate in a near-fatal accident, everything unravels.

Amy Carrington is a sports reporter in Leeds, England, who'd much rather report on life and fashion. But her boss has a brand new job for her covering the rise of American football in Britain that might just skyrocket her career and change her life.

When Harry emerges from his coma with no interest in football, can Amy bring him back to life and help him win the biggest game of his career?

Author Interview

Can you tell us a little bit about where you are from?
I grew up in small village in West Yorkshire. My childhood was brilliant living in a village with all my family close by. Clayton is only three miles from Bradford, a large industrial city and yet the village was so idyllic. Life was just one big adventure for me until one August day at 17 years old, I was involved in a road accident that left me in a coma for 2 weeks. I made one odd decision totally out of character to be on a motor bike many miles from home, which changed my life forever. I spent 2 years in the hospital recovering and underwent many surgeries to repair my leg which was badly damaged from the accident.
Fate, destiny, those impulsive decisions we make and wonder why on reflection are part of me as a story teller.
Do you have any news you’d like to share with us?
I finished my first short story recently. I quite enjoyed it and could easily write seven thousand words often. The inspiration came from a Maroon five song that I couldn’t get out of my mind. I watched the video with Adam Levine for the song and thought at the time – no way does this portray the story. Also, it was all in a Male point of view, while the story like Tight Spiral needs a strong female point of view if you have two strong characters. The song was “It was always you” and I am quite proud of my interpretation. Its set mainly on a train in England, with the finale in a hospital bed. If you look at the video it will have the girl dying. My story has the male character clinging for his life. I think to take a song and write your own interpretation is a great idea for people wishing to write novels. You already have a plot and just change it to your way of thinking and what is in your heart when you hear the song.
When and why did you begin writing?
I wrote my first non-fiction book in 2006 which was just part of what I do for a living. This was a book about whisky. After that, I continued with my business and never thought about writing again for six years. I came across an on-line creative writing course out of the UK. I never looked back after that. I have loved writing fiction ever since.  I was very lucky when I enrolled that the next tutor available was Margaret James prolific published 17 times romance writer. I probably got my romance inspiration from her although the erotic scenes come from me! Margaret is strictly a traditional romance writer.
At what point did you first consider yourself a writer?
The first printed copies of Tight Spiral arriving at my door. Looking on Amazon and Goodreads to find five star reviews from readers you don’t know.
Do you write about things similar to your own life experiences?
I did for Tight Spiral. How many Brits can claim they coached American Football? I did and had a blast. Harry Smith my main character was the first British born Quarterback to win a college bowl in America. We can all dream, right?
If you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor?
Once I began writing fiction in 2013, the modern-day author would have to be James Patterson and particularly his “Private” series. I think in today’s busy world many readers like to read fast paced stories that don’t take too long to finish. Patterson gets to the point without overly using fluff and really is a good story teller.
Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest?
Tony Parsons. A British crime writer that to be honest I normally don’t read. My fellow countrymen tend to be overly descriptive in their writing. I often need James Patterson just to give myself a break from too much description. This author changed his style with a new series in which the character is a police detective named Wolfe. I loved it from the first page and please all readers you should always read the epilogue in a book. The story flows really well. The first is Murder Man written in 2014.
What are you currently working on? Can you give us a sneak peek?
It should be the sequel to Tight Spiral. I had put this on the back burner until the NFL announced there would be four games in London in 2017. I predicted we would have our own NFL team in Tight Spiral, which was published in 2014. It could happen and so I may get started. I will have to find a way to make this happen fictionally while continuing to include a romantic element like the first tory.
Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?
OMG, lots! Writing a full novel is not easy. I have a great formula to get started on a story. I must have a fantastic ending. Once I have that a great opening is next. I don’t have much trouble with those, but finding the rest and then making the plot flow is. tough. Imagine watching movies and somebody or yourself will say “there’s a hole.” You have to constantly check the plot for any flaws. Also, building great characters in your stories. I often print off my story and go some quiet to read it out loud. Make sure your characters are authentic.
Do you have to travel much concerning your book(s)?
I always write about places I now intimately. I am lucky to visit England so often and will spend weeks in a location for my stories. I think you can find so much information now on the Internet to help with writing your story. However, I could never write about a location if I had not been.
Do you have any advice to offer other writers?

Write because you enjoy it. If you make some money let that be a bonus. It’s not so easy to be noticed on Amazon or any other platform these days. If you sign up for their exclusive author, select program you will be in the unlimited program that seems to be working.
